Garmin Nuvi 1300 announced the series in March 2009. The date for the release was originally scheduled in May, but it is now for 28 Established in June 2009. The 1300 product is a widescreen model with a diagonal dimension of 4.3 inches. Garmin had this model to a multifunctional device so it works well in your car and you can take it with them when navigating the teeming city foot. The five units in the product line are thinner and lighter than the big screenModels in the old product lines. All these devices are 0.6 cm thick and 0.8 inches for the older models.

The 1300-series units are also lighter than its predecessor (5.7) versus 6.1 ounces ounces. All units in the Nuvi 1300 series speak street names, which is the most important feature in an automotive GPS.

The nüvi 1300 is the basic unit of the series:

The Nuvi 1200 and 1300 series equipped with the optional cityXplorer ™ by Garmin, which you can download, for as low as $ 9.99 per city. This gives you the ability to navigate through the city like a native. It shows you where to walk or catch a bus or subway.

The nüvi 1300 has nolane assist, but also do all the other units in the series.

The "T" suffix after the model is apparent that the device is life movement in the price (1350T, 1370T and 1390T).

Two of these units, the Nuvi 1370T and 1390T, the nüvi Bluetooth ® wireless so you can use for hands free calls with your Bluetooth ® mobile phone.
